Improvement of training opportunities

SEVIPRO is an educational offer of KAGEDEV aiming at "improving the training opportunities of young Cameroonians in need of support".

KAGEDEV offers comprehensive support in removing material and social barriers that could cause young people to interrupt their education.

With more than 58% of young people graduating from secondary school and the poor, if not missing vocational training for adults in Cameroon, many young people find themselves with no qualifications, no qualifications, no livelihoods to support their families and socially integrate.

In view of this situation, KAGEDEV is developing vocational training offers for young people and adults in Cameroon.

Consulting office

The KAGEDEV team advises free of charge people who have obtained their diploma in Cameroon and want to clarify whether they need a "certificate of recognition" to practice their profession in Germany and informs about the recognition procedure, the documents to be submitted and the legal requirements.
We also assisted teenagers and young adults in finding apprenticeships and internships in Germany in order to increase their educational opportunities

to facilitate the integration of young people who receive training. This requires several commitments from both parties.

A willingness on the part of companies to welcome young people in difficulty
Ein echtes Engagement erfordert die Einbeziehung des Teams, die diese jungen Menschen ausbilden, die oft nicht unbedingt den üblichen Erwartungen eines Arbeitgebers entsprechen.

Listening to the company's needs
Some companies show a real "insertion" by demonstrating an unfailing commitment. They are convinced that actively participating in the training and integration of today's young people means guaranteeing a qualified workforce that meets the needs of tomorrow's employment basin.

Considering young people as a sustainable investment
The company expects and relies on well-trained recruits. Thus, young people feel truly expected and valued.

Professional orientation

Getting to know your own strengths, exploring professions, training to apply. Training is becoming more and more complex. In order for young people in transition from school to work to be able to cope with these challenges, they need to be familiarized with the topic of career choice and training at an early stage. The employees of the career guidance measure support them in this process.

Being fit to start of training

With the KAGEDEV career guidance measure, students aiming for a secondary school leaving certificate, or even anyone wishing to do an apprenticeship in Germany or Cameroon, receive help and guidance in choosing their future apprenticeship.
